The amperage draw is 0.0 A with the switch off and 0.3A with the switch on and under no load. The fit and finish are excellent. The battery clamps are very sturdy and resemble good quality jumper cable clamps.
I am using it with a constant 400W load, and it works flawlessly. The fan cycles between not needing to run and running on low. I highly recommend this product for use with its battery clamps up to 500W, or with the cigarette lighter plug for loads up to 100W.
